If you’ve visited our “Financials” page lately you may have seen a 100% stamp on there. What’s that all about, you ask? That stamp represents something that is extremely important to donors – where your money is going. We have changed our funding model to ensure 100% of your donations will go to patients with a sarcoma or rare cancer diagnosis. So, for example, if you decide to give $2 to on any of our $2 Tuesdays, that full $2 goes directly to those patients.
We have all been there. A news story comes out that a certain non-profit is giving a low percentage of donations to the direct cause it is intended for. That’s deceptive and will never happen with the Eric D. Davis Sarcoma Foundation. Transparency is so important and you will never wonder where your money is going in a donation to EDDF. It is our solemn pledge to you that any donation made is used in the most effective way possible. If you want to know in detail exactly how your gift will be spent, just ask us.
On the other hand, if you would like to use your donations to sponsor our operational expenses, there are two ways you can do it. A corporate sponsorship could be used for that purpose or you can join our Dream Team. For details on either of those or to view our financials or IRS determination letter, view our financials page.
